12-18 POINTS
Gimme Gimme Gimme
Of course women go after what they want- but you do it at the expense of others. The expert reckon you`re trying to fill a hole in your soul.Grabbers operate through fear of not having enough money, enough love or enough attention. The solution? Start giving. Try volunteer work to break your grabby habit. It might be uncomfortable at first, but after a few stabs, it`ll start to feel pretty good.

8-11 POINTS
You Only Get What You Give
Lucky you. You understand the joy of giving, but you do it for the right reasons. You don`t feel obliged to give and you only do it when when you want to. "Silence" doesn`t always means "Yes"

Sometimes, when someone`s arguing with you and asked or accused you with something and you just keep quiet, they automatically conclude that the thing they are accusing is true. But most of the time, it is misinterpret.
Being quiet has lots of reasons. We must remove in our minds that silence means yes. There are some people who just keep quiet for their own peace. Some only want to be quiet to stop the argument and to refrain it to a bigger problem. Some just don`t want to be involved and some, because of fear. Yes, because of fear. Although there are so many reasons why they remain silent, most of the time, the main reason is fear. Fear for them to be interrogated further, fear for their lives, fear for them to speak for the truth because of some circumstances like:for the safeness of their love ones, for involving powerful persons, for their own lives and for their freedom.
Though telling the truth is right, are you aware that telling the truth is much harder and tougher than lying? Well, most of the time, it is, specially when you are nice enough and thinking for the expenses of others, nice enough that you don`t want to hurt anyone despite of the truth that you must say. But truth must prevail specially when lots are involved and they need someone to speak up for their lives to get back.

Write your thoughts, express your mind

Have you ever encountered so many things in your mind but can`t bring it out? Why not try writing one of your own stories? Sometimes it helps a lot when you write what you feel. It releases the burden and helps you relax.
Writing is a very nice thing to do. It brings out all the ideas and enhances your brain as well. When you starts writing, all the ideas that stuck on your head will flow smoothly and you`ll be surprized because you will have a flying color outcome. It also helps you remove all the stress that is bothering you all the while.
Make yourself comfortable when writing. Stay in a cool, relaxing, and silent place for you to concentrate. Peaceful place helps you a lot in writing because you can easily think and can easily imply the feeling that you want to bring out. Write what you feel, what you want, your fantasies, goals and achievement. After that you will be grateful for what you have.

an elegant investment

Precious accessories are not only stylish but increase their value in the long run

What you buy can actually be a reflection on how you value yourself. Some indulge in clothes, some in shoes. Buying handbags can be addicting for others, for men, we`re talking about watches, shades, cars, you name it. For some women, it`s jewelry-beautiful, sparkling, sometimes mouthwatering jewelry.
It`s really a good investment,unlike with other things, branded bags for example, they depreciate. But jewelry, it has potential to appreciate in value. and one more thing, a lady should really invest in jewelries because jewels simply give more elegance.

CORY: an icon, a hero, and a mother

Till these days, Filipinos are still mourning for the death of the late President Corazon "Cory" Aquino. Knowing that she contributed a lot in our country, she did more than that. She brought back the freedom of our land. She fought for the rights of her people without using violence but instead, faith and belief for God. She served her country to her last breath.
I never knew someone who`s in the position but didn`t take advantage to any advantage that she might get. In other terms, "uncorrupt". Yes, she got all the powers but never indeed used in a wrong way. She was a very strong, brilliant and saluted woman who keeps her feet on the ground and always thinks of others. An unselfish creation of God who serves well and serves as a mother to anyone.
I have a four year old daughter who`s watching with my mother-in-law during the wake of the late President and i was so surprised when i saw her crying so I asked her why? "Why are you crying baby? something`s wrong?" she answered me back " I`m crying mom because I`m sad", I asked again why she`s sad and would you believe what she answered?"I`m sad because Cory is dead, she`s a good person", and she cried out loud. Even a four year old girl is aware of how good and important that person to everyone.
She was one of a kind. Despite of the pain and the suffering that she`d encountered, still, she`s much more interested and concerned to the other people than herself. She never complains, demands and ask for anything indulging her, instead, worried and cared for the others. Now, how can we recover from the lost of a hero, a mother, and a friend? How can we go on without our mother of freedom? When will we feel the ungreedy service of a leader again but instead the tenderness and sincereness of it? I just hope we will find a leader as simple and devoted as her. And I pray that It will be soon. That`s what we badly need now.

Meningitis-the fact

There are two types of meningitis, viral and bacterial. And one of the rare form of bacterial meningitis is meningococcal septicaemia. It`s a life threatening condition which needs urgent treatment because the results can be devastating. One in seven survivors is left with a disability such as deafness, and for one in 10 cases the disease is fatal. Early detection could make all the difference and reduce the death rate by 50 percent.
Viral meningitis is much more common and can often go unreported, as the symptoms can be similar to flu. It is not usually life-threatening, but any suspected meningitis cases should be taken extremely seriously and it can take over six months to make a full recovery. If you develop three or more of the following symptoms, see your GP immediately.

* lack of energy or general flu-like symptoms
* high temperature
* severe headaches
* sensitivity to lights
* vomiting
* Irritability
* drowsiness
* joint pains
* neck stiffness

In cases if septicaemia, there may also be diarrhea, stomach pains and a sore throat. With meningococcal septicaemia, a rash can appear anywhere on the body, although this doesn`t always occur. This rash looks like tiny pinpricks of blood-like bruising under the skin. If the rush doesn`t turn whitish when you press a glass across it, seek medical advice immediately.

Drink-right plan

Yes you can party all night without losing your get up and go! All you need to do is follow these eight simple steps...

Take it slow
Does knowing what alcohol does to your body make that killer hangover any better? Probably not. But it`s worth knowing this: alcohol is a mild anaesthetic, once it arrives to your stomach, it`s picked up by the bloodstream, which carries it straight to the brain. The first sensation upon its arrival are a feeling of lightheadedness and euphoria-that delicious belief that you`re really witty. At this stage, you probably are. so stay there: the average person can metabolise around one drink per hour(this is the pace of the body can break down and cope with alcohol) and if this intake is not greatly exceeded, the euphoria continues. However, if you have more than one drink per hour, the brain is more severely affected: motor faculties are disrupted(that charming lurch), speech becomes slurred, muscle control is lessened, and you begin to look foolish.
The aim is to drink just enough to feel mildly euphoric, with slightly relaxed inhibitions and a cheery outlook. but that euphoria can dispel your good intentions, so exercise willpower.

Say no to sweet drinks
This is the classic mistake of the novice drinker. All those trendy alcopops can mask the high alcohol content and make you drunk quicker. an overdose of sugar also enhances the negative effects of alcohol, so you`re more sick the next day.

Drink quality brands only
The extra cash you spend on a premium cocktail is worth it. The additives in cheaper brands are full of toxins and can trigger asthma, migraines and nausea. So steer clear of the mystery punch.

Say yes to champers
Good champagne is fine, unless you switch to something else after a few glasses. If you move onto another drink, have white wine and nothing else.

Think light
The yeast, sugar, flavourings and colourings in alcohol are the main contributors to furry tongue syndrome. That`s why you should drink forms of alcohol closest to the purse version-those that are lighter in colour. Choose white wine instead of red, vodka instead of whisky, lager over cider.

Say no to smoke

Don`t smoke-you`ll drink more...or is it the other way around? Either way, forget the fags: your breath will stink and, as your body will be busy eliminating alcohol, don`t overtax it with nicotine too.

"Coming up for coffee"

If you invite him in for the proverbial cup of coffee, don`t waste time actually making it, start kissing instead-coffee is a stimulant and, like alcohol, will disrupt your sleep.

H2-Oh!
Always keep a bottle of water by your bed no matter how hot the action is, you will stay cool and fresh.

Cooking For Diabetics

The number of people who are victims of diabetes is growing rapidly, and learning to eat well is an important part of managing the disease. Eating the right foods can help to keep your blood sugar at a proper level, which is the key to controlling diabetes and avoiding diabetes-related problems. African-Americans experience a higher incidence of the disease, doctors say, and many don`t know that they have the chronic condition in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin, the hormone that`s needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy.
